Luca is a consultant at FSREG and specialises in venture capital investments and incubation services for innovative start-ups.

He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich and has an extensive education in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. He possesses a broad technical knowledge at an academic level and over 20 years of industrial experience, including leadership roles at Alstom, ABB, and Schaffner Group. Luca has founded or co-founded two companies and is an innovator with 10 patents/patent applications.

Luca is the Managing Director of ETIX GmbH, an expert at Innosuisse, and an international expert member of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission). Furthermore, he is Vice President of IEEE Switzerland and a Senior Advisor in several startup ecosystems such as ABB/Synerleap, Technopark Zurich, and Runway (Technopark Winterthur). Since 2014, Luca has been the Co-Director of the European PhD School in Power Electronics.
